Introduction
During the spring equinox, a symbolic time of natural awakening, the Italian Academy of Biophilia (AIB), in collaboration with a multinational company active in large-scale retail, conducted a special event dedicated to Biophilia and Homefulness. The meeting, titled "Powerful Spring," brought together journalists and key influencers-stakeholders to disseminate these issues.
Background and Objectives
The event was organized to highlight the importance of connecting with nature in improving daily wellbeing, especially in an increasingly urbanized world. The main objectives were:
1. Raise awareness about the role of Biophilia in improving wellbeing.
2. Promoting Homefulness as home harmony, psycho-physical regeneration and wellbeing.
3. Engage influencers and journalists, key stakeholders in the social dissemination of these issues and the promotion of impactful community movements.
Implementation and Development
The event program included topics such as Biophilia and how it can help us combat daily stress, and creating a serene and relaxing environment within one's home. Tips, guided visualizations, a sensory experience and interactive activities were shared during the event, with the goal of providing participants with practical tools and inspiration to create a greater connection with nature within their homes, thus promoting a more harmonious and sustainable lifestyle.
Results and Impact
The event was actively attended by 40 journalists and influencers, who contributed to the discussion and engaged in sharing the message with their audiences. Through their influence, the event generated significant impact, raising awareness among a broad community about the importance of Biophilic and Biophilic Design in improving wellbeing, promoting positive change in connecting with nature at home and outside.
